Aico Ei3014 Heat Detector Safety Recall
Aico have issued a safety product recall for the Aico Ei3014 Heat Detector.
Date: 29th May 2025.
Risk: Non-compliant.
Notified by: Local Authority Trading Standards.
Description of Risk: A small quantity of Aico Ei3014 heat alarms were produced with plastic coverings
which incorrectly stated that they could also detect carbon monoxide. This may result in consumers being unaware that the alarm they have installed is for heat detection only and cannot detect carbon monoxide.
The issue has been isolated to a small production batch.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
This recall affects the following batch numbers,

- Ei3014-25W08C002-00196
- Ei3014-25W08C002-00150
